Our policies
As an organization operating in the food sector, consumer health, product quality, environmental sustainability, and corporate transparency are among our most fundamental values. In line with these principles, our policies, prepared in full compliance with international food safety standards (FSSC 22000, OIC/SMIIC 1) and national legislation, guide all our production, distribution, and marketing processes.
Each of our policies not only responds to legal requirements but also reflects our ethical business practices, quality culture, and commitment to social responsibility. From food defense and allergen control to foreign matter management and minimizing food waste, these policies serve as a guide for our employees, suppliers, and business partners.
Transparency and Continuous Improvement
Our policies are not static documents. They are reviewed regularly and continuously updated and improved in line with legislative updates, technological developments, and stakeholder feedback. Employee training, audits, and feedback mechanisms play a critical role in this process.

ALLERGEN POLICY
At İpek Nur Gıda, we understand that allergen management is one of the most important elements of our system, prioritizing food safety and customer satisfaction. In accordance with the additional requirements of FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System V.6.0, our company implements and maintains an Allergen Management system for raw materials containing allergens, as specified in the Turkish Food Codex and the relevant legislation of the countries where we sell our products.
1. Product/Service Supply, Production and Storage:
Information is obtained from suppliers regarding the allergen content of the products and, if transportation services are used, information about the transport vehicle's previous shipments.
Our product range does not currently include products containing allergens. Should we begin producing products containing allergens in the future, these allergen-containing materials will be processed on a separate line, undergoing necessary cleaning and verification at a different time than other products.
Where separate storage for allergen-containing substances is not possible in storage areas, appropriate labeling will be used to identify the allergen product. Employees, visitors, or suppliers are prohibited from bringing food intended for consumption into production and storage areas.
2. Staff Training:
In line with our plans, necessary training is provided on the correct identification and handling of allergen-containing substances. Training is also provided and precautions are taken to prevent allergen exposure from personnel.
3. Contamination Control:
Our company does not stock any allergenic products. If allergenic products were found, appropriate measures would be taken to reduce the risk of contamination during their handling, storage, and transportation. The same equipment or surfaces would be cleaned separately from allergenic and non-allergenic products, and appropriate labeling would be implemented.
4. Customer Information:
If a product contains allergens, the allergens will be indicated on our labels/packaging in accordance with legal requirements to provide customers with accurate information about allergies.
5. Continuous Improvement:
Allergy policies, related documents, and training plans are reviewed regularly and updated as needed. Customer feedback and internal audits are used to assess the effectiveness and appropriateness of the policy.
